Built in 1946 and completely reimagined in 2025, Acqua e Pietra is a unique loft that blends original character with modern comfort. Once a 40 sqm space, the property has been thoughtfully expanded to 85 sqm, creating an airy and refined retreat designed for both relaxation and style.

Set in a distinctly Puglian setting shaped by light, silence, and natural beauty, this space was born from the meeting of two opposing yet complementary elements: the fluidity of water and the solidity of stone. These contrasts define both the soul of the loft and the experience it offers.

The interior is enhanced by traditional volte a stella ceilings, a hallmark of local architecture that adds height, rhythm, and timeless elegance to the space, connecting the loft to its historic roots.

At the entrance, a compact, fully equipped kitchen welcomes you, leading seamlessly into a bright living room. Above, a lofted bedroom provides an intimate and restful sleeping area, while a modern bathroom completes the interior with clean lines and refined materials.

Outside, a private garden offers a quiet escape, featuring a jacuzzi surrounded by greenery — an inviting place to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the calm rhythm of the surroundings.

Acqua e Pietra is more than a loft; it is a place where past and present, water and stone, tradition and modern living come together in perfect harmony.

Bookings

• Acqua e Pietra is available on Airbnb.com and Vrbo.com platforms
• The minimum stay at the Loft is 3 nights
• Sleep max 2 persons

Total Price

• The total price of the booking incliudes: night stay, cleaning fees, additional fees (if any) and service charges. Details of those fees are available during the check out stage on Airbnb.com and Vrbo.com platfoms. The two platforms have the same prices.

Before your arrival

• The Guests will receive the gate and the keys lock codes two weeks before the renting starts
• The Guest will receive the Loft allarm code which is different from each previous renting.
• “Acqua e Pietra” is not wheelchair accessible
• Smoking is allowed outside the Loft but not in the jacuzzi
• Pets are not allowed with exepctions of Service Animals
• Guests are strongly recommended to rent a car. All major car rentals are available in all the local airports
• La Famila supermarket is just 4km away. Other local food stores are available in San Vito dei Normanni (1km away)

Check In

• Check In Time: from 16.00
• Method: Self Check-In
• A set of house keys will be provided to our Guests. Please take good care of the keys as if you lose them there is a fee of €100.00 In case this happens please contact me directly. I will organise the delivery of the spare keys and additional controller. Please pay the fee due directly to my Team member.

Check-Out

• Check Out Time: by 10.00am
• Method: Self Check Out process. Please follow the check-out policy provided.  
• Please leave the Loft as you found it. If the Guests notice some issues with the property, please report them to me directly via WhatsApp. If anything breaks during a stay we kindly ask our Guest to note it on the "Broken Items Notesheet" provided

Security & Safety

• Prior to the Guests’ arrival, an alarm code will be provided. The codes are changed at each renting
• Close the main door if in the back garden area
• Close all the main windows and external shutters before leaving the Villa
• Be aware of possible fire hazards such as: cigarette buts or hot barbecue
• For our Guests’ convenience, safety and hazard signs have been installed throughout the property
• Please familiarise yourself with the Swimming Pool & Safety Guidelines below
• In case of personal injuries please contact first the Ambulance assistance and, in a second stage, contact me as well via WhatsApp

Swimming Pool Safety

There are a set of simple pool rules which we strongly encourage to follow as they will guarantee the Guests’ safety.

• No Lifeguard on duty an any time (By law in Italy, a lifguard is required if the swimming pool has a high of more than 1.60m)
• In the interest of hygiene all Guests must shower before accessing the pool 
• Running, pushing, wrestling, or causing undue disturbance in or about the pool area is not permitted. Please respect the neighbours!
• Don't pee in the pool. 
• Diving is not allowed 
• No running around the edge of the pool. It is slippery when wet!
• No glass containers or food of any kind are allowed in the pool.
• No animals allowed with exeptions of Service Animals
• Smoking is not allowed in the pool
• Please respect the Neighbours at any time. No loud music allowed in the garden area after 10.30pm

At "Acqua e Pietra" offers 4 new great experiences for our Guests. Another great way to feel pampered during the holiday 's time.

All services are provided by certified professionals.

Please note: Acqua e Pietra experiences are NOT to be confused with Airbnb experiances. While Airbnb is giving now the possibility to book Airbnb experiances at the property, Acqua e Pietra does not allowed it. Only Acqua e Pietra experiences are allowed within the property. Guests can book Airbnb experiences HERE but they need to be carried out outside the property. Vrbo does not provide this service.

Aperitif Cocktail Night at Acqua e Pietra

Why not enjoy an Aperitif Cocktail night at the Loft. In co operation with the best cocktail bar located in Ostuni our Guests have the possibility to enjoy amazing cocktails with natural fruit juices produced through the "Osmosis" process. Each Guest has the possibility to chose 3 cocktails from the cocktail menu which is provided upon request. Cocktails are accompanied with typical Puglian nibbles. 

Personal Chef

Fancy a fantastic dinner at the Loft with typical Puglian specialitis? Personal Chef services can be organised for one night or for the entire Guest's stay. Tell us what you want to eat or let the Chef decide for you. 

Personal Driver / Tour Service

Acqua e Pietra is partnering with a prestigius local transporation company which offers a personal driver from and to the major Puglian's airport or daily/weekly personal driver service. In addition, it is possoble to organise: a  tour using a typical "Calessino" (photo below), wines and/or cheeses tasting and tours to the amazing beaches and/or olive groves.

Wine Tasting 

Are you wine lover? In collaboration with a prestigious local “Enobottega” (Wine bar), Acqua e Pietra offers wine tasting afternoons at the Loft.  White, red, rose’, bubbles or Champagne we have them all! Drinks are accompanied with typical Puglian cured local meats and cheeses.

Acqua e Pietra (Albiati Estates) has not financial interests by providing the above experiences. Instead there is a € 10.00 booking fee applyed by Acqua e Pietra. On an yearly basis, all the booking fees are donated by Acqua e Pietra to the Italian Parkinson Association. 

Experiences are booked through the Albiati Estates web site - Section Events and Expereinecs Hub.
